Note: The Office of the Council would be the place for Election for all purposes.
(3) The Election of the members of the Council to be elected by the Registered Practitioners from amongst themselves shall be held by a postal ballot.(4) The Lists of Voters under rule of Gujarat Homoeopathic rule 1965 for the aforesaid constituencies are published in the Office of the Council on 22th March 2017 and the copies of which can be obtained from the said office on payment of prescribed charges.(5)The name of a candidate shall be proposed by a voter and seconded by other voters. A candidate not so proposed and seconded shall not be deemed to have duly proposed and seconded.(6)The blank nomination papers can be obtained from the Returning Officer on making an application to him.(7)No voter shall propose or second the nomination of more candidates than are required to fill up the Vacancy or Vacancies of more nominations than are required to fill up seat or seats, be subscribed by the same voter all nominations subscribed by him shall be invalid.(8)The candidate shall sign nomination paper declaring that he is willing to serve on the Council if elected. In the absence of such declaration the nomination shall be treated as invalid. (9) Every candidate shall along with the proposal for nomination, deposit with the Returning Officer a sum of rupees One Hundred in cash. A nomination paper not accompanied by such deposit shall not be accepted by the Returning Officer. The deposit shall be returned as per provisions of election rules.(10) Any candidate may be present either in person or by his associated representative at the time of scrutiny of nomination papers and/or at the time of counting of Voters.(11) Any candidate may withdraw his candidate by sending a notice in writing signed by him to the Returning Officer not letter than 12.00 Noon on the day fixed for withdrawal.(12) Every Voter desirous of voting shall send his voting paper to the Returning Officer before the time fixed
for the receipt of voting papers. Any voting paper which is received by the Returning Officer, after the time
so fixed, shall be rejected. (13) Duplicate voting paper shall be issued to the applicant only on production of
his identification i.e. copies of Registration Certificate, R.T.O. License or Residential proof with the signature
of the Gazetted Officer.
